UAE Sets $11.6 Billion Bavaria Track In Germany Investment Plan
The UAE’s 10 billion euro Bavaria allocation will target industry, AI, data centres, digital infrastructure and energy security under a declaration exchanged in Munich.

Economy Middle East reported that the UAE plans to place 10 billion euros, or about $11.6 billion, into Bavaria as part of a wider 40 billion euro investment commitment in Germany.
The Bavarian allocation gives the state visit a concrete industrial target rather than leaving the talks at the level of diplomatic language.
The UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Bavaria’s Minister-President, Markus Söder, met at the Munich Residenz during the visit to discuss cooperation between the UAE and the German state.
The investment focus sits squarely in sectors where both sides are trying to deepen capacity.
Industry, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, data centres, digital infrastructure and energy security are all listed as priorities for the Bavaria portion of the commitment.
That mix links the capital plan to future-industry infrastructure rather than a single asset class or short-term portfolio placement.
Bavaria brings an industrial and innovation base that fits the UAE’s effort to broaden long-term economic partnerships.
The plan also includes knowledge and expertise exchange, giving the investment a cooperation track alongside the financial commitment.
For the UAE, the stated aim is to connect its investment strategy and development priorities with Bavaria’s technology and industrial ecosystem.
The meeting also produced a formal government-to-government step.
Sheikh Mohamed was present as the two governments moved the talks into a signed declaration covering strategic investment and cooperation.
The exchange was handled by Söder and Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology.
The official program around the meeting underscored the state-visit setting, including a reception ceremony, the UAE national anthem and a guard of honor at the Munich Residenz.
Senior UAE officials, including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, attended with the delegation.
The result is a Bavaria-specific investment track inside the larger Germany commitment, with the signed declaration giving the two governments a framework for the industrial, technology and energy-security cooperation discussed in Munich.
