PLDT Pitches Integrated Cloud, Security and Connectivity Strategy for Enterprise Clients
PLDT is positioning connectivity, wireless, cloud, cybersecurity and digital services as one enterprise relationship as customers modernize around AI, resilience and procurement priorities.

PLDT is packaging connectivity, wireless, cloud, cybersecurity and digital services into a broader enterprise offer, Back End News reported, as the Philippine operator tries to move beyond single-product telecom relationships.
The company set out the strategy at the inaugural ACC CXO Forum in Hong Kong, an event organized by PLDT Global for industry leaders, technology decision-makers and enterprise executives.
The forum agenda covered artificial intelligence, infrastructure investment, procurement and business resilience, giving the operator a business-technology setting for its customer strategy.
The plan reflects a continued shift inside the PLDT Group from traditional telecommunications provision toward an integrated digital services role.
Instead of asking enterprise clients to manage separate relationships for connectivity, wireless, cloud, cybersecurity and other tools, the company wants to put those services into one customer view and one commercial conversation.
That model matters most for companies trying to modernize across several technology layers at the same time.
A unified provider relationship can reduce the friction of system upgrades, AI adoption, data protection and cross-market operations, especially where enterprise teams need network, security and cloud decisions to move together rather than through separate buying tracks.
Leo Posadas, PLDT senior vice president and treasurer and PLDT Global chief financial officer, framed the approach around customer experience, customer choice and customer success.
The message puts service integration at the center of PLDT's enterprise pitch rather than treating connectivity as the only anchor product.
Procurement is also part of the shift.
Louella Calixtro, PLDT's chief procurement officer, described procurement as a function that now shapes investment decisions, guides where capital is deployed and identifies partners that can create sustainable value.
The forum positioning gives PLDT a clearer enterprise narrative: connectivity remains necessary, but customers are being pushed to evaluate providers on resilience, AI readiness, cybersecurity coverage and the ability to coordinate multiple digital services.
For PLDT Global, the test will be whether that integrated conversation turns forum messaging into deeper regional enterprise relationships.
