Meeza has completed a 4MW data-center expansion for an unnamed global hyperscaler in Qatar, delivering the project nine months ahead of schedule.

The early completion gives the customer capacity to accelerate its cloud and digital-services rollout, Data Center Dynamics reported.

Early Capacity Delivery

The project follows a July 2025 hosting agreement worth QAR 350 million ($96m).

Under the deal, Meeza agreed to provide 4MW of capacity at its facilities for more than a decade.

The customer’s identity has not been disclosed.

Mohamed Ali Al-Ghaithani, Meeza’s CEO, said: “Completing the project nine months early demonstrates the dedication of our teams and reinforces the confidence that global technology leaders place in Meeza as their trusted digital infrastructure partner.”

He added that demand for cloud services, artificial intelligence and high-performance computing was accelerating, and said Meeza remained committed to investing in infrastructure supporting Qatar’s Digital Agenda 2030.

The national strategy seeks to diversify Qatar’s economy beyond oil and gas by investing in digital infrastructure and skills by the end of the decade.

Hosting Agreements

The completed 4MW project is part of a larger expansion in Meeza’s hyperscale hosting business.

Last October, the company signed another agreement with an undisclosed global hyperscaler to provide 6MW of capacity.

That deal, signed with one of the “fastest-growing cloud service providers in the world,” was valued at more than QAR 750 million ($205m).

Together, the two agreements represent 10MW of contracted capacity and more than QAR 1.1 billion in disclosed deal value, although the customers and individual facilities have not been identified.

Qatar Data-Center Footprint

Meeza operates five data centers in Qatar.

Its fifth facility, M-VAULT 5, is located in the Qatar Science and Technology Park in Doha and launched in 2022, a year after M-VAULT 4 opened in the same technology park.

The company completed an IPO in 2023, floating 50 percent of its issued share capital on the Qatar Stock Exchange.

The newly completed expansion adds another 4MW to the capacity Meeza is providing for global cloud infrastructure in Qatar.
