Lumio Raises $12 Million To Expand Its Consumer-Electronics Portfolio
Lumio raised a $12 million Series A led by Blume Ventures to add products, software, offline retail and support capacity for its smart TV, projector and speaker business.

Inc42 identifies Lumio's $12 million Series A as a capital raise for a young Indian consumer-electronics maker that is trying to widen its hardware range while building software into the living-room device business.
The round was led by Blume Ventures and included existing investors Stellaris Venture Partners and 3one4 Capital.
Lumio framed the money as support for more product and software investment, new categories, stronger quality work and after-sales support as the company grows.
The funding also pushes Lumio further beyond online sales.
The startup plans to expand its retail presence so shoppers can see and try its products in stores before buying, a useful step for televisions, projectors and speakers that compete on display quality, sound and setup confidence as much as price.
Lumio was established in 2024 by Raghu Reddy, previously Xiaomi India's chief business officer, and Kailash Sankaranarayanan, a former Flipkart executive.
Its first smart TV lineup arrived in early 2025, and the portfolio has since moved into projectors and speakers.
Software is part of the company's attempt to stand apart from older electronics brands.
The TLDR feature brings personalised discovery to nine Indian languages and uses AI, with Lumio pointing to several patent filings around the system.
Its smart TV pitch also includes a higher-performance system-on-chip, enough RAM to reduce slowdowns during multitasking, and a tuned network chipset for unstable Indian internet conditions.
The early operating numbers give the raise a scale marker.
Lumio claims more than 35,000 households across over 5,000 pin codes, crossed ₹100 crore in gross merchandise value within 13 months of commercial sales, and more than tripled GMV year over year for the April-to-August period in 2026.
The Series A follows a $4.3 million seed round in July 2024 from Stellaris and 3one4, keeping both investors on the cap table as Lumio tests whether software, offline retail and home-entertainment hardware can produce a durable consumer-electronics brand.
