Adecco Extends Agentforce Coworker To 27,000 Staff Across 40 Countries
Adecco Group is deploying Salesforce’s Agentforce Coworker to 27,000 employees across more than 40 countries after a UK and France pilot.

Adecco Group is moving Salesforce’s Agentforce Coworker into daily work for 27,000 employees across more than 40 countries, AI News reported, turning a UK and France pilot into one of the staffing sector’s larger internal agentic AI deployments.
The rollout gives sales staff and recruiters a single interface for data, systems and organisational knowledge that had previously been spread across dozens of tools.
Agentforce Coworker is built into Salesforce, runs on Anthropic’s Claude and is designed to support sales and recruitment work with clients and candidates.
The workflow starts with the tasks that define Adecco’s commercial pipeline.
For sales teams, the assistant can surface high-priority prospects, assemble preparation notes, add missing account detail and show where leads stand with colleagues.
Recruiters use the same workspace to choose applicants and trigger agents for pre-screening, recruiter support or onboarding, so more of the process happens before they leave the interface.
The assistant also uses a record of more than 2.5 million agent-candidate exchanges accumulated from April 2025 onward.
Denis Machuel, the group’s chief executive, framed the system as an interface that brings candidate history and client context to the moment when recruiters still need to make human judgments.
The pilot showed strong adoption within days, he said, although the September statement did not publish usage or productivity figures from the UK and France trial.
The deployment follows a multi-year Salesforce agreement signed in March and running through 2027.
Under the Agentic Enterprise License Agreement, Adecco receives worldwide access to Agentforce 360.
The March announcement tied that contract to a goal of having agentic AI support more than half of Adecco revenue by the end of 2026.
The September rollout sits alongside earlier recruitment automation already live in ten countries that represent 50% of Adecco business revenues.
In the UK, where Agentforce 360 agents had been used in parts of recruitment, Adecco previously connected the tools with a 15% reduction in time spent, faster hiring cycles, improved fill performance and lower service costs.
The March statement used the figure of roughly 27,000 recruiters; the September rollout applies the same headcount to employees covered by the deployment.
A separate Dreamforce 2026 keynote account by CX Today added a wider set of company-provided figures.
At the San Francisco event, Machuel credited agentic AI with giving recruiters back 35% to 40% of their time and linked the program to 20,000 additional placements this year.
Those figures have not been independently verified.
The same keynote showed Ada, a recruiting voice agent built on Agentforce Voice.
The demonstration followed a paused application: the caller received the reason, provided an updated certification identifier, completed verification and left the call with the application changed.
Adecco has not set a completion date for the 40-country rollout.
Its March roadmap pointed to more agents in the UK, expansion in France and other key markets, and more agentic functions for delivery hubs spanning India, Poland, Mexico and Morocco.
